Taking the Lead: Skills for Unlocking the Power of Your Team (Spring 2024)

Wednesday, June 5, 2024 (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM) (MDT)

Description

Taking the Lead is designed for individuals currently in leadership positions or those aiming to transition into a leadership role. It provides valuable insights and essential skills related to building and managing high-performing teams. This program is also appropriate for anyone who collaborates closely with a team to achieve daily goals—whether they are front-line workers, supervisors, coaches, administrators, or responsible for driving results through the work of others.

Taking the Lead aims to equip you with the skills to not only handle conflict effectively but also foster a team culture that encourages open communication and prioritizes positive results. By understanding your team members’ communication styles and motivations, you can identify potential pain points that may lead to conflicts and misunderstandings. Additionally, through the use of the Talent Insights Report and an exploration of Emotional Intelligence, participants will gain insights into their own leadership strengths and opportunities, and their impact on team dynamics.
