Please join Vail Valley Partnership & the Summit County Chamber of Commerce as we welcome Lee & Novi for an information session discussing the H-2B Non-agricultural Temporary Seasonal Workers visa program.
The H-2B temporary worker visa program is managed and overseen by both USCIS of Department of Homeland Security and OFLC of the U.S. Department of Labor. The H-2B program allows businesses of all sizes, in every industry (except agriculture positions), to sponsor foreign workers legally for up to 9 months to meet seasonal and peak load needs so long as the employer can prove that they are unable to identify qualified and available U.S workers at the appropriate prevailing wage.
Although the program is complicated by a myriad of federal regulations and rules, attorney Matthew Lee will explain how your business can navigate the rules to successfully attract and employ seasonal workers under the H-2B program to supplement your local workforce during your peak periods. This is a BASIC Level 101 session discussing the process step-by-step. Attorney Lee brings 30 years of immigration law experience and hands-on insight of the H-2B program, an understanding of the uniqueness of the hospitality, travel and leisure industry as well as community level perspective of workforce development to the session.
Note, if you are interested in using this H-2B visa program for next year 2026-2027 winter season, it is important to start the process in early Spring of 2026!
