De-Escalation For The Workplace
Wednesday, October 2, 2024 (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (MDT)
Description
De-escalation training teaches the skills needed to manage tense situations, prevent them from escalating into conflict, and defuse conflicts that have already begun. This is not your typical de-escalation training program. This course combines years of academic research on emotional intelligence with the skills developed as a police negotiator to create this one-of-a-kind training program.
Intended For: Anyone in a position that interacts with others in-person, over the phone, or online and may encounter people who are frustrated, irate, or in crisis. De-escalation training empowers staff to handle challenging scenarios effectively while prioritizing safety and customer service. This training is not intended for law enforcement officials but will benefit those in government, medical, hospitality, transportation, construction, and administrative positions.
