CareerWise Apprenticeship Bootcamp
6/1/2026 - 6/2/2026
Description
This two-day professional development and team-building event is designed to prepare new youth apprentices for a successful transition into their first professional work experience and new apprenticeship roles. Apprentices will participate in a variety of interactive workshops focused on workplace readiness skills, including communication, professionalism, time management, teamwork, problem-solving, workplace expectations, and professional etiquette. Through hands-on activities, role-playing, and real-world scenarios, students will gain practical strategies and tools they can utilize in the workplace to confidently navigate challenges and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. In addition to skill development, the event provides apprentices with the opportunity to connect with fellow apprentices, mentors, and supervisors as they begin building a strong network of professionals who will support and guide them throughout their two-year apprenticeship journey. The program is designed to help students build confidence, strengthen professional relationships, and develop the mindset and skills needed to succeed in a professional environment.
Your parents/guardians are invited to join us on Tuesday, June 2nd from 11am -1pm for a parent meeting and lunch. This is a great opportunity for you parents to ask any questions they may have about your apprenticeship and will get to meet your supervisor that will be mentoring you for the next 2 years. There will be a place to register your parents when you register!
