Summer is right around the corner, and we’re building the volunteer team that helps our campers learn, grow, and thrive. Our Youth Power Summer Camp Lunch Program ensures that kids across the Vail Valley have the nutrition they need to stay energized, curious, and ready for a full day of learning and fun.

Last summer, with the help of dedicated volunteers, we served more than 9,100 hot meals to hundreds of students. This year, we’ll once again support nearly 700 children across six schools, and your involvement helps make that possible (June 15 - July 3).

What you will do

Volunteers help deliver, serve, and pick up lunch materials each day. Shifts can be as short as one hour, and many fall during lunchtime: a simple, meaningful way to brighten a child’s day and support their learning.

El verano está a la vuelta de la esquina, y estamos formando el equipo de voluntarios que ayuda a nuestros campistas a aprender, crecer y prosperar. Nuestro Programa de Almuerzos del Campamento de Verano Youth Power garantiza que los niños de todo el Valle de Vail reciban la nutrición que necesitan para mantenerse con energía, curiosidad y listos para un día completo de aprendizaje y diversión.

El verano pasado, gracias al apoyo de voluntarios dedicados, servimos más de 9.100 comidas calientes a cientos de estudiantes. Este año, volveremos a apoyar a casi 700 niños en seis escuelas, y tu participación es fundamental para lograrlo.

Lo que harás

Los voluntarios ayudan a entregar, servir y recoger los materiales del almuerzo cada día. Los turnos pueden ser de tan solo una hora, y muchos coinciden con la hora del almuerzo: una manera sencilla y significativa de alegrar el día de un niño y apoyar su aprendizaje.
