Colorado Mountain College is hosting the second Rediscovering Common Ground event, a nonpartisan series of live and virtual community discussions centered around The New York Times bestseller, “The Bill of Obligations: The Ten Habits of Good Citizens” by Dr. Richard Haass.
Local Vail Valley businessman and philanthropist, Lee Rimel, hosted a discussion about the book and the ways that we, as a community, can come together during this pivotal election year to talk frankly and share our opinions. Many thanks to individuals who came out to the initial event, participated in the robust discussion and contributed to ideas for future topics. The next session will take place on Thursday, August 22 and will feature CMC's president Dr. Matt Gianneschi discussing teaching not only civics but civility.
