Wednesday, April 3, 2024 10:00 AM - Thursday, April 4, 2024 11:30 AM (MDT)
Description
Did you know…
- 73% of US adults rank finances as their #1 stressor
- Only 17% took a personal finance class in high school
- Finances are consistently ranked one of the highest contributors to anxiety and depression
The mountain lifestyle can be truly rewarding but – let’s face it – it’s not easy these days. This course is designed for frontline hospitality workers – those who may be in hourly & tipped positions, work multiple jobs, or require a side hustle to make ends meet. Understanding money management and planning for the future can help ease anxiety & depression and make it possible to call this community home for the long run.
It doesn’t take a lot of extra cash to make a big difference in your financial future. Join us to learn how to make your money work for you, instead of you working so hard for your money!
Intended For: Frontline hospitality & customer service staff - this may include (but is not limited to) employees working in restaurants, retail, lodging, activities, and services – both on & off the mountain. There are no pre-requisites required, just a desire to take control of your financial well-being. This is a supportive, judgement-free zone – no question is too basic!
