The Town of Minturn is thrilled to announce a new event – introducing Minturn First Fridays! Based on community feedback, and in an effort to support local businesses, the Town is partnering with various Minturn businesses to host First Friday events. The inaugural event will take place on Friday, September 6th at the newly remodeled Eagle River Inn. For the October First Friday, a pig roast is planned at Kirby Cosmo’s BBQ Bar. The September First Friday theme will be “Whisky and Wine by the River.” Whisky tastings and cocktails will be provided by Eagle River Whisky, with beer and wine also available from Eagle River Inn. The event will include live music by local musician Jen Mack, and light snacks will be provided. Attendees who sign up for the Eagle River Inn mailing list will receive two free drink tickets. The Town of Minturn, Eagle River Inn, and Eagle River Whisky welcome the community to come experience the Inn’s beautiful backyard space on the river, while visiting with friends and neighbors. On-site parking is limited, but attendees may park in the Minturn Municipal Lot. Carpooling, walking and bicycling are encouraged.
