Kintsugi Workshop

Description

Join us to learn  Kintsugi, the Japanese are of taking a broken piece of pottery and turning it into a more beautiful piece of art, with Maria White. 

This $50 workshop will introduce you to the philosophy behind Kintsugi and give you a chance to try it on a piece of pottery/ceramics. Please bring your own broken ceramic cup, bowl, or other simple ceramic item, or find one at a thrifty shop.  We will also have a few on hand that we find at thrifty shops. Our broken pieces can become beautiful again. Instead of tossing out a broken cup, Japanese Kintsugi practices repairing it with "Golden Joinery". Come learn how and be inspired. All other supplies will be provided.
