Mountain Youth, a local nonprofit dedicated to ensuring all youth in Eagle County thrive, is thrilled to announce its second annual fundraiser event, 'Forging Futures.' The event will take place on April 17th at Citrea restaurant in the picturesque Beaver Creek. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to indulge in the finest culinary delights Beaver Creek has to offer while supporting a cause that truly makes a difference in the lives of young people. The evening will feature stories of connection and resilience from Eagle County School District superintendent Phil Qualman, Diana Loera, a teacher at Edwards Elementary, Jordan Asbury, a student at Battle Mountain High School, and local comedian and radio host Liz Ferron. Through programs such as We Hear U, Valley's Voice, and Eat Chat Connect, Mountain Youth strives to create a supportive environment where youth can flourish emotionally, mentally, and socially. Funds raised from Forging Futures will directly contribute to sustaining and expanding these essential initiatives. 'This event is not just about enjoying a memorable evening of great food and company; it's about coming together as a community to empower our youth and invest in their future,' says Michelle Hartel, Executive Director of Mountain Youth.
