Beginner Jewelry Making: Earrings
Thursday, October 1, 2026 (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM) (MDT)
Description
Earrings can take any outfit up a notch—or two! Learn the fundamentals of handmade earrings while creating 3–4 pairs in a variety of styles to wear yourself or give as personalized gifts.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn techniques for making simple one-, two-, and three-drop earrings, as well as cluster-style designs. You’ll work with beads, headpins, eyepins, wire, and earwires and learn how these different components come together to create finished earrings. You’ll also learn how to wire-wrap briolette-style beads, giving you another technique to use in future jewelry projects.
No previous jewelry-making experience is necessary.
Choose Your Own Style
Because jewelry is personal, participants will purchase and bring their own beads and project supplies. This allows you to choose the colors, materials, shapes, and overall look that suit your style.
After you register, we’ll send you a detailed supply list with guidance on what to purchase and how to select appropriate materials, so you won’t have to figure it out on your own.
The instructor will provide the basic jewelry-making equipment needed during class, including pliers and other shared tools.
ARTSPACE will also have a limited selection of beads and basic jewelry supplies available for purchase during the workshop in case you need an extra item or discover you’re missing something. However, ARTSPACE is not a bead or jewelry-supply store, so participants should plan to arrive with the materials listed in the supply guide.
You’ll leave with 3–4 pairs of handmade earrings, several new jewelry-making skills, and the know-how to continue creating your own designs at home.
Price: $65 per person
