Access Unbound Adaptive Sports Film Festival

Friday, November 6, 2026 (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (MST)

Description

For the past decade, Access Unbound has demonstrated that adaptive sports are about far more than recreation—they are about possibility, confidence, community, and changing lives. The Access Unbound Adaptive Sports Film Festival celebrates these stories through the power of film.

Launching during Access Unbound’s 10th Anniversary, this year-long screening series will showcase inspiring documentaries and narrative films featuring adaptive athletes, innovators, outdoor adventurers, and communities redefining what is possible. Inspired by the visibility created through the 2026 Cortina Winter Paralympics and the remarkable stories emerging from Eagle County and around the world, the festival seeks to increase awareness of adaptive sports while creating meaningful conversations around inclusion, accessibility, and opportunity.

The festival is designed not simply as a series of film screenings, but as a community gathering that connects audiences with athletes, filmmakers, educators, nonprofit leaders, and outdoor enthusiasts.

The Mission is to celebrate the resilience and achievements of adaptive athletes through film, elevate the visibility of people with disabilities, inspire future generations, and strengthen the culture of inclusion throughout the mountain sports community.
