More than 150,000 auto crashes occur annually due to icy roads nationwide, according to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). CDOT’s Winter Wise campaign aims to keep drivers safe on our roads and reduce traffic delays. Motorists unprepared for winter conditions can cause closures, lengthen travel times and heighten their risk for crashes.
