Core Transit Launches New Bilingual Website to Make Every Ride Easier
Improved site delivers live chat, improved navigation, and bilingual resources.
Core Transit has launched a brand-new bilingual website, www.CoreTransit.org, designed with riders in mind. The new site reflects the agency’s belief that every journey should be an empowering and gratifying experience, and that begins with how Core Transit connects with its community.
Riders shared that finding schedules and information should be simple. That’s why Core Transit built this new site to make it easier, and even a little fun, to get the answers riders need all in one place.
Highlights of the new website include:
- 24/7 Live Chat – Core Transit has added a new live chat tool to make connecting with the team easier than ever.
- During office hours, the bilingual customer service team is available to answer questions in real time.
- After hours, an AI-powered chat agent steps in. Trained with rider resources, it guides users to schedules, routes, and helpful information anytime.
- Improved Navigation & Accessibility – The new site is designed to help riders find what they need quickly, without extra clicks.
- Streamlined menus & shortcuts – Schedules, routes, and fares are organized in a clear, simple layout along with simple shortcuts on the homepage.
- Modern design & accessibility - A cleaner look, brighter visuals, clear icons, Spanish translation, and screen reader compatibility ensure the site is welcoming and accessible to everyone.
- Rider Alerts – The new website is now the central place for service updates and rider alerts. Whether it’s a planned detour, construction closure, or unexpected disruption, alerts are displayed clearly so riders always have the timely and actionable information they need to plan their trips with confidence.
- Feedback Channels – Core Transit has made it easier for riders to connect. From simple contact forms to a new Lost & Found form, the website creates more direct ways to share feedback, ask questions, and get answers.
“This new website is more than a digital brochure; it is an extension of our service,” said Tanya Allen, Executive Director of Core Transit. “For example, our community asked for easier ways to get bilingual transit information, and this site delivers. It is another example of how we are using our riders’ feedback to build a system that reflects the needs and values of the people we serve. For us, it is about more than technology; it is about keeping our community moving and showing that every ride and every rider matters.”
This project is not only a major step forward for riders, but it is also a reflection of Core Transit’s commitment to continuous improvement. It supports the agency’s goals of being safe, trustworthy, and accountable, and of improving the rider experience; key elements of Core Transit’s Five-Year Strategic Plan.
The new website is now live at www.CoreTransit.org. Core Transit invites riders to explore the new bilingual features, try the live chat, and share feedback as the agency continues to build a system that is welcoming, accessible, dependable, and rewarding for all. And this is just the start. Core Transit has set aside resources in 2026 to keep enhancing the site and adding new tools that make riding even easier.
