What inspired you to start your business or organization? 

I started Vail Valley Wellness because I wanted to create the kind of healthcare experience I couldn't find myself. Too often I felt rushed through appointments or handed another prescription, or simply just not heard. I always wanted to work in healthcare, but thought there must be another way. For better or worse, I experienced a traumatic car accident at 15 years old that left me in a wheelchair. After trying everything under the sun, I tried acupuncture and it was absolutely life-changing. That started the next 9 years of schooling to earn my doctorate. Along the way, I tried everything I could when it came to health tools. I sorted through what I liked, what I responded to, what had value, and what was backed by research... and put it all under one roof. That's why Vail Valley Wellness is able to offer such a unique healthcare experience for our patients. Comprehensive doesn't even begin to describe what we do. It's whole-person care, in a place where people feel heard, where we have time to ask better questions, and where healing doesn't feel cold or clinical.
 

What’s one thing people should know about your business? 

People often assume we're a spa until they realize we're also one of the most comprehensive natural healthcare clinics in the Valley. We treat everything from chronic pain and fertility to concussions, migraines, anxiety, autoimmune conditions, and recovery after surgery. The relaxing atmosphere is intentional, but behind it is an incredibly experienced team that genuinely cares about helping people get results.

If someone walked into your business for the first time, what experience would you hope they have?

I hope they walk through the door, take one deep breath, and instantly feel themselves relax. We designed every detail- from the gardens and tea to the treatment rooms and spa spaces- to feel calming and intentional. Whether you're here for acupuncture, a massage, a facial, or simply spending time in the sauna and cold plunge, I want people to feel safe, cared for, and completely comfortable. Almost everyone tells us, "I can't believe this is here in my backyard." It really feels like a destination.

What’s something people should know about your team or company culture? 

We hire kind people first. Skills can be taught. Compassion can't. Every person on our team truly wants you to feel welcomed, seen, and cared for. We celebrate each other's wins, collaborate often, and constantly ask ourselves one question: "What would make this experience even better for the person walking through our door?" Vail Valley Wellness is a place where exceptional healthcare meets genuine hospitality- helping people feel like the best version of themselves.

What’s one word you hope customers associate with your business? 

Hope. Because whether someone comes in exhausted, frustrated, in pain, or simply needing a reset, I want them to leave believing things can get better.
