Broadway's "The Addams Family" Musical Brings Big Theater to Small Colorado Towns this October
Three intimate venues offer exclusive performances during the only Colorado stops on the national tour
In a rare treat for Colorado theater enthusiasts, the national Broadway tour of "The Addams Family" musical comes to Colorado this October with an exclusive run of eight performances at three intimate and beloved venues across the state.
The popular musical comedy will perform at Pueblo Memorial Hall (October 7), the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek (October 8-9), and The Lincoln Center in Fort Collins (October 10-12), making these three venues the only Colorado destinations for the touring production this year. This offers Coloradans a unique opportunity to experience world-class Broadway entertainment in small-town settings during peak fall season.
"This presents an incredible opportunity for Colorado audiences to escape the big city and experience Broadway theater in truly intimate environments," said Cameron Morgan, Executive Director, Vilar Performing Arts Center. "These performances mark the first time a national Broadway tour has stopped at the Vilar during the fall season, and combined with our spectacular fall foliage, it's the perfect excuse for a Colorado theater getaway."
“We’re excited to have the opportunity to share this leg of the national tour with Vilar and Pueblo,” said Victoria Erickson, Marketing and Brand Manager at The Lincoln Center. “We look forward to the cast conjuring up a frightfully fun night of catchy music, clever costuming, and creative choreography. In the spirt of the season, The Lincoln Center encourages audiences to come in costume for a chance to win spook-tacular prizes.”
The timing couldn't be more perfect, with a new season of Netflix's hit series "Wednesday" bringing fresh attention to the spooky-kooky Addams Family franchise just in time for Halloween season. The production features nearly the entire returning cast from last year's successful tour, providing exceptional continuity and performance quality.
“At Pueblo Memorial Hall, our Broadway Season typically begins in winter, but we couldn’t pass up the chance to kick things off early this fall with The Addams Family. Southern Colorado audiences won’t have to travel far to experience the same Broadway tour that plays the nation’s largest stages, we’re bringing it right here to Pueblo, Colorado,” says Jacob Rivera, Marketing Director of Pueblo Memorial Hall.

This creates an unparalleled opportunity for audiences to experience Broadway touring performances up close and personal – something impossible in larger metropolitan venues.
