Non-Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman Licensed Electrician OR Master Electrician- Airport

Non-Journeyman Electrician: $28.84-$34.61. The maximum pay for this position is $40.38.
Journeyman Licenced Electrician: $31.15-$37.38. The maximum pay for this position is $43.61.
Master Electrician: $33.64-$40.37. The maximum pay for this position is $47.10.

ECG is looking to fill one position, however, we are willing to consider applicants of all levels. See the description and qualifications for all levels below.

Schedule: Friday-Monday or Saturday-Tuesday (6am-4:30pm or 7am-5:30pm). Flexible work arrangement.

The Airport Electrician engages in the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of high and low-voltage electrical, constant current, communications, and electronic systems; acts as a lead for projects as assigned and oversees regulatory requirements for electrical permitting and regulatory compliance. Participates in various maintenance-related tasks for the Eagle County Regional Airport and keeps the facilities and grounds in clean and safe conditions.

The Airport Master Electrician does all of the above and may ALSO work with apprentice and journey-level electricians throughout the county for career advancement.

Qualifications: Non-Journeyman Electrician

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification, or Registration:

  • Preferred Education
    • Education/Certification/Completion from a technical school, college, or university in an electrical field.
  • Preferred Work Experience
    • Airfield Lighting Maintenance training and/or Airfield Electronics training
  • Minimum Licensure
    • Possess a valid Driver’s License, or ability to obtain within 60 days, with a satisfactory motor vehicle record without restrictions.
  • Preferred Licensure
    • Class B Commercial Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 1 year.
