The Town of Minturn is thrilled to announce the second of its new First Friday events. Based on community feedback, and in an effort to support local businesses, the Town is partnering with various Minturn businesses to host First Friday events. The inaugural event took place on September 6th at the newly remodeled Eagle River Inn. For the October First Friday, a pig roast is planned at Kirby Cosmo’s BBQ Bar. The October First Friday will be held on Friday, October 4th from 5-9pm at Kirby Cosmo’s BBQ Bar, 474 Main St. in Minturn. Come enjoy a delicious pig roast with $4 sliders and $3 sides, until it’s gone. Kirby’s full menu will also be available. Additionally, enjoy free tastings by Dano’s Tequila and 10th Mountain Whiskey. Both vendors will also be providing free swag and giveaways. Savor the flavor with Dano’s Dangerous Tequila – handcrafted, additive-free tequilas made with fresh, all-natural ingredients. And of course 10th Mountain Whiskey will also be on-hand. The men of the original 10th Mountain Division brought innovation, courage and a new sense of adventure to the Rocky Mountains. The goal of 10th Mountain Whiskey is to incorporate these traits to provide an authentic, Colorado experience through their spirits, philanthropy and whiskey community. Dave Perron will be providing live music from 5-9pm. Dave’s music features alt-country, roots and Americana. Cornhole will also be available.
