Forging Futures with Mountain Youth

Tuesday, April 16, 2024 (5:30 PM - 8:00 PM) (MDT)

Description

Join us for this amazing opportunity to celebrate all that local youth have accomplished, and help us ensure all youth thrive for years to come.

We will hear from the Director of Education and Community Programs at the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Depression Center, Alex Yannacone, while dinning on the some of the best food Beaver Creek has to offer.

Alex has an extensive background in implementation and trainings for prevention and intervention of mental health services and education. She provides programs and trainings addressing mental wellbeing for workplaces, schools, and communities across the United States. She is also a master trainer in suicide prevention trainings including QPR and VitalCog. Prior to her work at the Center, Alex contributed to the oversight, management, and delivery of a statewide child abuse and neglect prevention program. Additionally, Alex has provided therapeutic services to at-risk families and the refugee population within Colorado.

All proceeds from the event will go towards Mountain Youth's programming throughout the year, including Eat Chat Connect, We Hear U, and Valley's Voice.
